Drawing inspiration from Japanese music and traditions, melodic death metal band Whispered will release their highly anticipated fourth studio album ‘’Honorbound’’ on September 11th. It has been almost ten years since their previous album, ‘’Metsutan’’, was released in 2016, so the new release marks the band’s return after a long hiatus.
The album’s release is preceded by the new single ‘’Battlecry’’, which was released today, and represents the recognizable Whispered sound: heavy riffs, epic melodies and storytelling inspired by Japanese history.
